Extremely dangeous MOT pass In my opinion this garage gave my car an MOT but I was shocked to discover that the upper rear control arm bushes were actually in a dangerous state. The ball joint bush was literally just black rubber goo loke baby food and the two other bushes were almost in the same state. The front off-side brake was rubbing because Berrylands Autocare mechanic had fitted it incorrectly and it had resulted in a failed wheel bearing. The front off-side ball joint had been welded in place and the tester didn’t notice. It is my opinion that the MOT tester, despite being approved, is not mot competent to test your car. Therfore, I have filed a complaint with DVSA because it is grossly negligent to pass a car with defective brakes, wheel bearings, control arms and ball joints. I think you should absolutely avoid this garage. They are a danger to the publc.
