Nicky Major of Scott Davidson was hired as a party wall surveyor in a party wall matter. When the matter concluded, her invoice stated that she had undertaken 22 hours of work. A typical party wall surveyor would take approximately 7-10 hours for a similar mandate. For example, she invoiced 4 hours of general administration work prior to reviewing any documentation or visiting the site. She has been reported to RICS as a result of this matter. I would strongly encourage anyone reading this not to hire her or Scott Davidson.
